This class is a practical hands-on short course in the safe use and handling of AC & DC Power Systems. It will cover Ohm’s Law, how electricity works and an overview of utility power connections. Load centers, grounding and wiring standards will be reviewed and there will several labs using multi-meters and probes to measure power flow. Additionally, there will be demonstrations, and if available hands-on exercises in the safe installation and maintenance of DC power systems and AC power plants.
