
Tom Dover bio
Tom Dover has spent an entire career managing, maintaining and teaching telecommunication networks. His experience includes telecommunication technology fundamentals, specialty equipment and safety programs for utility companies, government agencies and private organizations.
He has delivered training at over 200 sites nationwide, with a focus on utility microwave mobile and cellular based radio networks and wireless systems. He has designed and presented training courses in technical and non technical subjects and is currently producing a complete library on on-line learning courses for communication students and institutions. Tom is an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor and course chair for General Industry and Construction.
Tom is the President of DTS, Inc a Utah based training, program development and production company.

Bob Young bio
Bob Young has 30+ years experience with wired and wireless communications electronics. In addition to teaching for DTS he operates his own design and consulting business, and is still actively involved in field work. Bob also teaches network design and troubleshooting at Bellevue College (the third largest institution of higher learning in the state of Washington).

Ira Wiesenfeld bio
Ira Wiesenfeld, P.E. is a consulting engineer who has been involved in the radio communications business since 1966. He has a BSEE from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX; a FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License (who also wrote 25% of the current FCC GROL exam); is a Senior Member of IEEE; is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas; and is also a Senior Certified Electronics Technician from ETA-International. He has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1963, and currently holds an Advanced Class license. Ira has provided service for the broadcast, public safety radio, mobile telephone, radio common carrier, paging, manufacturing, military, and education markets, and also provides training; and has written a book on installation standards, along with numerous magazine articles.

Vern Erickson bio
Vern Erickson has been in the telecommunication industry for 35 plus years. He has extensive outside Installation and repair experience in resident and business lines. He has also spent time in the central office environment working on digital switches and transport equipment.
He has been a technical trainer for the last 20 years with a focus on testing and troubleshooting copper lines for ADSL, DS1 and HDSL services.

Dane Brockmiller bio
Dane Brockmiller is an independent consultant who has been in the wireline and wireless industries over 37 years. His work experience includes Clearwire, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, SBC and Southwestern Bell Telephone companies. His services include designing and managing voice, data, and video systems along with engineering copper, microwave and fiber networks. Dane also develops curriculum and delivers technical training to numerous clients across the US.
Dane has been involved in the radio communications business since 1974. He has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1979 and currently holds an Extra Class license. He is a CWNP Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) in IP wireless networks. Dane has Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certifications through the Emergency Management Institute (EMI), Emmitsburg, MD and Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Jefferson City, MO.

Richard Garwood bio
Rich Garwood has been in the telecommunication industry for 40 years. He has a broad knowledge in all aspects of the industry ranging from outside plant testing and troubleshooting to Fiber Optic Installation and Maintenance. Rich has trained numerous customers around the world in places such as Tokyo Japan, Okinawa, Yokosuka Japan, Guam, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico and several cities in Canada. He has also spent time in the central office environment working on digital transport equipment as well as Cell Sites for various Wireless carriers.
He has been a technical trainer for the last 23 years and has taught at Honolulu Community College as well as providing support for the US and Canadian military. Rich is also a certified exam administrator and a member in good standing at the Electronic Technicians Association.
